Bible moment
The Bible moment
The LORD commands Joshua to have Israel march around the closed city of Jericho once daily for six days, then seven times on the seventh day. After the priests sound the trumpets and the people shout, the wall falls. Israel takes and devotes the city to destruction, while the silver, gold, bronze, and iron are reserved for the LORD’s treasury. Rahab and all who are with her are rescued because she hid the messengers and because of the agreement with the spies. Joshua declares a curse on anyone who rebuilds Jericho, and the LORD is with Joshua.
