Jesus Feeds Five Thousand
Mark 6:30-44
The disciples return and report to Jesus, who takes them by boat to a solitary place to rest. Many people arrive ahead of them. Jesus has compassion on the crowd, teaches them, and then feeds about five thousand men with five loaves and two fish. Everyone eats and is satisfied, and twelve basketfuls of broken pieces and fish remain.
