Hannah Prays for a Child
Hannah prayed at Shiloh, and Eli answered her kindly after first misunderstanding her. Later Samuel was born. When he had been weaned, Hannah brought him to Eli and dedicated him to the LORD. This is Hannah's particular story, not a promise that every prayer receives the same answer.
