The Parable of the Sower

Jesus told a parable about seed falling beside a path, on rocky ground, among thorns, and on good soil. He later explained how these different outcomes pictured responses to the word of the kingdom. The farmer is a character in the parable, not a separately named Bible person. This printable focuses on Matthew 13:3–9; 18–23. Read the surrounding passage with children to place the scene in the wider account.
