Ruth, Boaz, and Baby Obed
The later chapters of Ruth continue the story beyond the barley field. Ruth approached Boaz about his family responsibility, and he settled the matter with the nearer relative and town witnesses. Ruth and Boaz married, and their son Obed brought joy to Naomi. Obed became the grandfather of David.
