The Bible moment
Matthew 28:16–17 says that the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain Jesus had directed them to. When they saw Jesus, they worshiped him, though some doubted. The passage does not name the mountain or explain the nature or cause of the doubt. Jesus then declares that all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to him. He commands his disciples to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything he commanded. Jesus promises to be with them always, to the end of the age.
