Bible moment
The Bible moment
In Acts 10:1–48, God directs the Roman centurion Cornelius in Caesarea to send for Simon Peter. God prepares Peter through a vision. Peter visits Cornelius, explains that God shows no partiality and welcomes people from every nation, and announces the good news about Jesus Christ. While Peter is speaking, the Holy Spirit comes upon the Gentile hearers. Peter then orders them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
