Psalm 23
The Big Idea
Psalm 23 describes the LORD’s care through a shepherd’s imagery.
The Bible Story
Psalm 23 uses the picture of a shepherd’s care to express trust in the LORD. Green pastures, quiet waters, and right paths describe provision and guidance. This is poetry and imagery, rather than a separate event in David’s life.
