The Wise Men Visit Jesus
Magi from the east come to Jerusalem during Herod’s reign seeking the child born king of the Jews. After learning that the Christ would be born in Bethlehem, they leave Jerusalem, are guided by the star to the place where Jesus is, worship him, and present gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they go back to their country by another route.
