The Bible moment
Judges 7:23–25 describes the pursuit after the LORD caused confusion in the Midianite camp. Men from Naphtali, Asher, and Manasseh were summoned, and Gideon called Ephraim to seize the waters and the Jordan. The Ephraimites captured Oreb and Zeeb. The passage says Oreb was killed at the rock of Oreb and Zeeb at the winepress of Zeeb. This scene belongs to the end of the account of Gideon’s victory over Midian. It should not be extended into the later dispute with Ephraim or other events.
